KENVELO opens in FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest
The leading international clothing retailer Kenvelo opens this month a 156 sqm outlet store within FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest. The lease transaction reaffirms the maturing evolution of the Romanian retail market, with Kenvelo being the 11th new brand that joins the scheme since the beginning of the year.
Kenvelo is a clothing brand originally from the Czech Republic, which has grown into being one of the most popular among fashion lovers. It is currently present in approximately 270 stores in 18 countries: Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Israel, Bulgaria, Russia, Austria, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Belarus, Albania, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Ukraine, Serbia, and Germany. The retailer leased a 156 sqm unit within FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest, opened at the end of last week. This is the 11th new brand that joined FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest this year, after Desigual, Colin’s, Triumph, Sport Vision, Issimo Home, R&R Boutique, Various Brands, U-Grow, Multibrand Street & Go and Land Mobile.
We are pleased to welcome Kenvelo among the family of top international and local brands within FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest. The new lease is yet another proof that the most popular fashion brands on the market are turning to the outlet retail concept as part of their expansion process and, specifically, that this channel of distribution is increasingly popular in Romania – said Brendon O’Reilly, Managing Director of FASHION HOUSE Group.
FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest is strongly addressed by retailers as the preferred solution to optimize their stock and make additional profits. With a growing list of the best brands offering permanent discounts of 30-70% all-year long, we will continue to bring positive surprises to our outlet fans and to consolidate the centre’s position as the best value-for-money shopping destination for fashion lovers – added Sorin Ioan Blaga, Retail Operations Director FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest.
The new lease agreement with Kenvelo reaffirms the ascending evolution of the Romanian retail market and, specifically, of FASHION HOUSE Group, as the only operator of a professional outlet centre in the country. During the first semester of 2016, retail sales within FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest grew with 10,9%, while the conversion rate (percent of visitors who buy) registered a 16% surge compared to the similar period in 2015. The average transaction value (ATV) also maintained its ascending trend with a 8,3% increase. Moreover, probably the most significant evolution of H1 2016 was represented by the considerable increase in average spending per head (+25,5% compared to H1 2015), proving that people visiting FASHION HOUSE Bucharest find here more of what they were looking for.
The positive outcome of H1 2016 continues the spectacular growth marked by FASHION HOUSE Bucharest in 2015, when annual retail sales, spending per head and the average transaction value, soared to the highest levels of the previous 5 years.
Opened in 2008, FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Bucharest is the first professional outlet centre in Romania.
