Fashion Park Outlet Centre in Indjija, the first dedicated outlet center in Serbia opened its doors to customers on Thursday, April 19th. Opening day saw nearly 25,000 people reach the centre, which makes it the biggest opening-day visitor number of any GVA-Operated Outlet Centre in Europe.

Fashion Park Outlet Centre is located between Serbia’s capital Belgrade and its second largest city, Novi Sad. the site has an extraordinary location adjacent to the E75 highway. the highway registers an average of 40,000 vehicles passing within 400 m of the site every day and it has a catchment of 3.3 million within a 60 minutes drive representing more than 50% of Serbia’s total purchasing power.

The 11,000 sqm phase 1 of the scheme is home to nearly 40 stores including some of the world’s best-known clothing & footwear brands. Within the Outlet Centre there are both interior and exterior children’s play areas, while visitors can refresh themselves in a wonderful piazza area around the fountains, served by a selection of restaurants and Costa Coffee. Fashion Park provides a currency exchange office, a bank and free parking with 1,200 spaces for cars and coaches.

The open-air village style center with dramatic architecture is the first genuine outlet in the country and the region. It will enable visitors to buy original products at 30 to 70 percent discount prices. as Brendon O’Reilly, Managing Director of FASHION HOUSE Group explains: “All the Outlet Centres we operate have interesting architectural features that correlate with the culture of a particular area and so does Fashion Park Outlet Centre in Indjija – it is themed with a classic architecture style, giving our consumers a unique shopping atmosphere. I’m delighted to say we have attracted a mix of local, European and International designer, high-street and sports brands.”

The following stores are amongst the best-known brands trading in FPI: Adidas, Nike, Puma, Replay, Levi’s, Bata, Guess, Timberland, Converse, Ecco, Office Shoes, Beosport, Midas, Planeta, Sport, PWL Fashion, Time Out, Skechers, Fashion Company Outlet, Sportina Outlet, Movem Fashion, Lisca, Retro, Tom Tailor.

The 30 million Euro project is one of the largest investments realised in Serbia this year. GVA Outlets, a subsidiary of Warsaw-based FASHION HOUSE Group, will be responsible for the management, operating and international leasing of the center.

“GVA Outlets was the first Outlet Centre operator in Poland and Romania, and FASHION HOUSE Group is currently developing the first Outlet Centres in Russia. This makes us the leading name in the Outlet Sector in the Central and Southern Europe region with Serbia as our tenth project.
